This remarkably intact farmstead was listed on the New Jersey and National Registers of Historic Places in 2005 as a representative illustration of the rural region’s architecture and agricultural practices during the 18th and 19th centuries.

Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Warren County hosts an Agripalooza/Tractorcade at the Van Nest-Hoff-Vannatta Farmstead. Warren County celebrates local agriculture with a Tractor Parade, tack sale, workshops and demonstrations, live animals, agricultural displays, live music and The Angry Chouriço BBQ food truck on site. Free admission! This event replaces the Farmstead's traditional Fall Open House.
